Have You Thanked A Worm Today?

One morning, while making oatmeal, a simple question popped into my head: “Have you thanked a worm today?” The thought made me smile, and I instantly knew it was something worth exploring. What started as a passing curiosity quickly turned into a passion project. Over the next two months, I wrote, illustrated, and self-published my first children’s book—an educational story about an earthworm named Sprout, designed to teach young readers about the vital role worms play in our ecosystem.

Bringing Sprout to Life

From concept to completion, Have You Thanked A Worm Today? was a journey of creativity, research, and discovery. I wanted to craft a book that wasn’t just fun to read, but also educational—something that would spark curiosity about nature and sustainability. Every illustration and line of text was carefully designed to be engaging for young minds while fostering an appreciation for the small but mighty creatures beneath our feet.

Inspiring Readers Around the World

Since its release, Have You Thanked A Worm Today? has reached readers of all ages across the world. One of the most rewarding experiences has been sharing the book in virtual classrooms, reading to children in grades 3–5, and discussing creativity and environmental stewardship. Through these sessions, I’ve had the opportunity to connect with young minds, encouraging them to embrace their curiosity and explore the natural world with a sense of wonder.
